Information : The booties are straight because dogs paws are naturally straight when relaxed.
The booties are this long and not longer , because dogs radius ulna (ankle) bends just above the top of the booties.
The Velcro® length is because you can have two straps for working dogs, also the height of the strap can be adjusted.
The way of closings the Velcro® straps can be reversed on the left or on the right to use them.
The sole is rubber and very tough.
The booties are made from Cordura®, which is the same material a lot of mountain booties are made from.
The booties are also made from neoprene which is wet-suit material, therefore being water resistant.
The seams are not sealed because dogs breath through their paws, if they were sealed their paws would get soggy.
The split at the top of the bootie is so that the bootie goes on easier.
The indications of sizes are given by the foreign manufacturer, nevertheless as the booties are "very tight" it is preferable, in case of doubt, to choose the upper size.
